What is The Sheppertonian?
The Sheppertonian is a local media platform celebrating life in and around Shepperton through a podcast, newsletter and social channels.
- Podcast: Tune in to The Sheppertonian podcast for conversations with community groups and local voices.
- Newsletter: A friendly round-up of news, interviews and things we love in and around Shepperton. We curate the ‘What’s On’ events and highlight local community groups and voices.
- Community membership: Join our community to support the production of The Sheppertonian.
- Business Club: We partner with local businesses to help them reach neighbours through sponsorships and features. If you run a local business, you can find out more about the Business Club here.
- Socials: Follow us on Instagram and Facebook for photos, event reminders and glimpses behind the scenes.
How often does the podcast come out?
New episodes of the podcast are released on the first and third Tuesday of each month.
What is the newsletter?
The Sheppertonian newsletter is sent every Thursday and includes:
- a curated What’s On guide;
- local stories and interviews;
- community updates;
- business highlights.
Is it free?
Yes. The podcast and newsletter are free to access.

I run a local business. How can I get involved?
First, sign up to the Business Club newsletter, starting in April.
Second, you can get your business message in front of a local audience by joining the Business Club, which includes:
- podcast mentions;
- newsletter features;
- social media visibility;
- networking events.
How do I submit an event for the What’s On guide?
You can submit your event for free through the website here.
The weekly What’s On guide is curated, so inclusion is not automatic, but submissions are welcomed.
