The Big Green Egg at Runnymede-on-Thames.

Runnymede-on-Thames Hotel, 6 Rowan Avenue, Egham, TW20 8AN. Join us for the launch of our new partnership with Big Green Egg, bringing a fresh take on riverside dining this Easter weekend. Expect beautifully prepared dishes cooked over open flame, seasonal ingredients and a relaxed outdoor setting right by the river. Watch the chefs at work, soak up the atmosphere and enjoy something a little different, just moments from home. Running across the Easter weekend between 12pm-3pm, this is the perfect excuse to gather friends, head outdoors and make the most of the long weekend.

⛪️ Holy Week and Easter Services at St Nicholas Church, Shepperton.
Maundy Thursday
- 2nd April 7.30pm. A celebration of the Last Supper and foot washing, followed by the Watch with Jesus in the garden of Gethsemane. The Watch will finish with night prayer at 10.00pm. Good Friday 3rd April 2.00 - 3.00pm. Good Friday meditation and veneration of the Cross. There will be activities for children in the parish centre during this service. Easter Sunday 5th April 6.30am Dawn Vigil and First Eucharist of Easter 10.00am. Parish Sung Festival Eucharist for Easter Sunday - there will be our usual SNAP teaching for children during this service

Easter Classic Gathering.

Our popular Easter Classic Gathering returns - expect hundreds of classic cars and motorcycles across the historic Brooklands site! We’ve got live music, a BBQ and other catering outlets offering breakfast and lunch, a Traders Village to browse – there’s something for the whole family. Bring your cherished classic car or motorcycle, registered up to and including 1996 (P prefix, eg. P123 ABC). Modern sports and supercars are welcome too, we have a dedicated parking area for you in The Heights. Tickets here.

Introduction to Enamelling for Beginners and improvers.

Come and learn to enamel heating powdered or liquid glass onto copper in a kiln at over 800*c. 4 week courses £85. Cost includes teaching, kiln, tool use and Riverhouse Barn facilities. Copper metal and enamel material are paid for separately in class. Typical materials cost £5 to £10 depending on materials used.
