Shepperton Village Fair
The Shepperton Village Fair has been the biggest day in the village calendar for decades. A Grand Procession down the High Street, a fairground at Manor Park, and homemade rafts racing down the Thames. Entry is free.

The Grand Procession
The day opens with the procession through the heart of the village. It assembles at St Nicholas C of E School, comes down Manor Farm Avenue, turns into the High Street and carries on all the way to the fairground at Manor Park. If you only see one part of the fair, this is the one that fills the village.
The Great Nauticalia Raft Race
Two kilometres of homemade rafts on the Thames, with crowds along the bank. It runs on the afternoon of the fair and has its own theme each year. In 2026 the theme was Heroes.
Parking
The car park attached to the fair site is reserved mainly for official fair vehicles. Limited public parking opens there after 1pm, and there is more at Halliford School on Russell Road. Both are first come, first served, so walking or cycling in is usually easier. Disabled parking is available on the fair site with a valid Blue Badge.
Getting involved
The fair is run by volunteers and there are separate contacts for stalls, the procession, the raft race, competitions and sponsorship. General enquiries go to chair@shepperton-fair.org, and the official site lists the rest.
Hear from the organisers
We sat down with Dik Gregory to talk about what it takes to put the fair together, recorded live in the village.
Dates, venue, parking and contact details taken from the official Shepperton Village Fair website and last checked on 22 August 2026. The 2027 date is our expectation based on the usual pattern, not a confirmed announcement.
