A note from Gareth

Shepperton has more going on than most people realise. Clubs that have met every week for decades. Charities and volunteers who are there when someone needs a hand. Businesses run by people you'll see on the high street, and events that bring the whole village out. I started The Sheppertonian to bring it all together, so more of us can enjoy it, and find help when we need it.

Every Thursday, the Weekly tells you what's on, what's new and who's who. Every community group, charity, support service and local business in our directories is listed at no cost. And the podcast is building a record of this place, told by the people who live here, for anyone who wants to hear it now or in fifty years' time.

Making it takes time and money. Local businesses cover part of that through the Business Club. Community Supporters can help with the rest.

Questions

Can I stop whenever I like?

Yes. You can cancel any time from your account.

Where does the money go?

Into making The Sheppertonian: the website, the Weekly, the podcast, and the hours behind them.

I run a local business. Can I help?

Yes, through the Business Club, which is a better fit for businesses.

Not in a position to pay?

That's completely fine. Forward the Weekly to a neighbour, or tell someone new to the area about it. That helps too.
