Annual Events in Shepperton

The calendar above shows what is coming up. This is the village year, the fixtures that come round every time, so you can plan ahead rather than find out the week before.

Second Saturday in June

Shepperton Village Fair

The biggest day in the village calendar. A Grand Procession down the High Street, a fairground at Manor Park and free entry all day.

Same afternoon as the fair

The Great Nauticalia Raft Race

Two kilometres of homemade rafts on the Thames, a different theme every year, and crowds the whole way along the bank.

Mid August

Sunbury Amateur Regatta

A weekend of rowing on Sunbury reach, between Desborough Sailing Club and D'Oyly Carte Island. In 2026 it ran on 15 and 16 August.

Second Wednesday in December

Big Tree Night

The village switches on Christmas, with the lights, the crowd and the singing at the top of the High Street.

Dates are the usual pattern rather than a guarantee, because most of these are run by volunteers who confirm each year. We check them before every season and list the confirmed dates in the calendar above and in the weekly newsletter.

Shepperton Business Connect

Once a month, local business owners, freelancers and creatives come together at one of Shepperton's best spots for an informal evening of conversation and connection.

There's no agenda, no name badges, no awkward elevator pitches. Just good people, good coffee, and the kind of conversations that tend to go somewhere useful.

The evening is co-hosted by The Sheppertonian and nikibakes, and usually takes place on the third Thursday of each month at The Ferry Coffee Shop, Shepperton Lock.

It's free to attend and open to anyone running or building a business in and around Shepperton. All you need to do is show up.

When: Third Thursday of every month (usually)
Where: The Ferry Coffee Shop, Ferry Lane, Shepperton Lock, TW17 9LQ
Time: 5-7pm
Cost: Free
