Local government is changing
Today Shepperton has two councils: Spelthorne Borough Council and Surrey County Council. On 1st April 2027 both are replaced by a single new council, West Surrey Council.
Its first councillors were elected in May 2026 and are preparing for the handover now. Until April 2027, keep contacting your borough and county councillors about services and local problems.
