The Shepperton to Weybridge ferry is back. The river's been on red boards through the winter - but the water's calmed down, and the crossing is open again. To celebrate, they're offering a special April fare: adults cross for just £2.50 single or £5 return, and children £1.50 single or £2.50 return - that's a saving on the usual price - running from the 7th of April to the 7th of May. The ferry runs every day from 9am to 5:30pm, every fifteen minutes, or just ring the bell.

The Pavilion, Burgess Way, Knowle Green, Staines TW18 1AJ. We are hosting a free taster session from 14:00-17:00 on Sunday 17th May for anyone who wishes to give lawn bowls a go. A great way to enjoy the outdoor summer months and meet new people. We are a friendly club, open to all ages and abilities. Please bring a pair of flat soled shoes and we'll provide the rest!
