The Orchid Society of Great Britain Spring Orchid Show.
Squires Garden Centre, Halliford Rd, Upper Halliford, Shepperton TW17 8SG. There’s always a fabulous display of orchids in our Table Show. If you’d like to enter a plant, please drop it off at The Orangery by 10.30. Judging will take place at 11am. Plants can be collected at 16:00. Squire’s is easy to access with free entry to the event and parking or just a 20 minute walk from Shepperton Station. More info here.

The Shepperton to Weybridge ferry is back. The river's been on red boards through the winter - but the water's calmed down, and the crossing is open again. To celebrate, they're offering a special April fare: adults cross for just £2.50 single or £5 return, and children £1.50 single or £2.50 return - that's a saving on the usual price - running from the 7th of April to the 7th of May. The ferry runs every day from 9am to 5:30pm, every fifteen minutes, or just ring the bell.

Join us for a special live evening at Bishop Duppas Bowls Club on Wednesday 3rd June. Two podcast episodes recorded live in front of an audience, with local guests (to be announced), real stories and a social interval in between. The bar will be open all evening and is card only.
